A political party is a group of people sharing common policy preferences. These people seek, or have, political power for general purposes. In a democracy political parties participate in electoral campaigns
Manifesto (also called party platform): it’s a document where the political party lists the actions which it supports and considers important and appeals for having its candidates voted by the general public.
